What does ESD mean? ESD stands for electrostatic dissipative. RWM’s ESD wheel uses a static dissipative material that has medium resistance to electrical flow. This means electricity is able to flow through the ESD material and can then safely be released into a conductive flooring found in most manufacturing or assembly plants transporting sensitive materials such as computer chips or circuit boards.
